Welcome to Golden Hill Family Farms! We are a family-based breeder of Golden Retrievers and Goldendoodles. Our dogs are first and foremost our family pets. We believe in quality over quantity breeding and we strive to ensure that if you get a puppy from us you’re getting the best new addition to your family as possible! We live on 5 acres so our dogs have plenty of room to run and play!
Our dogs are all AKC registered and health tested for the common problems of their breeds so we ensure we’re breeding the highest quality puppies we can. They are also embark DNA tested, not only for any health defects, but also for their coat color genes and furnishings. This way we can be sure that our Goldendoodles have that classic teddy bear look and have the least amount of shed as possible.
Golden Retrievers make super amazing family dogs. They love everyone they meet and are very gentle with children. They’re ranked number four for intelligence and are also very eager to please which makes them one of the easier dogs to train.
Poodles are ranked number two for intelligence, making Goldendoodles one of the ultimate family dogs! With the right breeding they are very low shedders and while that doesn’t guarantee they’re completely hypoallergenic, since there are more factors that go into allergies than hair, they are a good choice for those with mild allergies. Not to mention they’re super cute!
